Transformational
Healing
The Adara Collective 501c3 shares sound healing meditation practices and simple tools that create safe space for people to gain self-awareness, heal, and change their environment from the inside, out. We create opportunities for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, veterans, and at-risk youth to consider new possibilities and ways of being that support a loving, healthy, and fulfilling lifestyle.
OUR MISSION
The Collective is driven by a profound dedication to fostering peaceful and harmonious communities. We firmly believe in the intrinsic worth of every individual and are committed to empowering them through the cultivation of self-awareness. By offering transformative practices such as sound healing, mindfulness, breathwork, and movement, we strive to create inclusive communities where everyone feels acknowledged, valued, and actively contributes to the collective's well-being.
Our Philosophy
Adara’s intention is to support those who don’t have access to holistic ways of healing and provide tools to begin a new life after trauma is experienced. Our main focus is with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated communities. The practices and teachings that we share allow participants to remember how to be fully present with their self and contribute to the community in a positive way. We work together to create tangible goals and introduce new healthy habits to work with in order to change the inner and outer environment of each individual.
We feel that in order to build a healthy structure (community) we must first have a supportive and stable foundation to begin. The most vulnerable people in our society are the foundation of our community. We must create the support and uplift all of our members in order to experience the changes we wish to manifest in this world. We meet people where they’re at in their process without judgment or criticism and create new agreements to move forward in the most beneficial way. We promote and cultivate Self-Acceptance and Forgiveness to support growth in a new direction.
To quote one of our favorite people at Homeboy Industries: “WE IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT PRISONS AND THEN WE CREATE THAT WORLD.” ~ Father Greg Boyle
COMMUNITIES WE SUPPORT
While Adara’s focus is supporting incarcerated and formerly incarcerated folks our intention is to serve the staff and caretakers within facilities as well. We also offer programs to support at-risk youth, foster children, veterans, and people in recovery.
Currently, we are sharing weekly classes and support individuals at Travis State Jail and Lockhart Women’s Prison. During the school year, we partner with Communities in Schools and offer weekly sound healing meditation workshops at Travis, Pride, LDMC, Hays, Live Oak Academy, Elgin, and Good Night Middle School. In 2024, Manor ISD hired us to share a series of workshops for their Whole Child program. The workshops were experienced by staff, students, parents and the feedback was very positive. In addition, we work quarterly with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) and the youth in the juvenile detention centers and half-way houses.

HEALTHY HABITS
We share simple tools to create new healthy ways of BEing. We meet people where they're at and support them at their own pace as they restructure their life.
SOUND HEALING MEDITATIONS
As we share simple tools to change the inner and outer environments, we also support people with crystal singing bowl sound healing journeys to heal on a deeper energetic level.
THE LITTLE BOOK OF TOOLS
The personal development part of our sound healing classes is based on our founder's book and we are able to provide free copies to anyone that requests one to support them on their journey.
YOGA & MOVEMENT
Our instructors work with the utmost compassion and without judgment. They show up with integrity and share in the most gentle way.
We create opportunities for individuals to consider new possibilities and ways of being that support a healthy lifestyle through sound healing meditation, breath work, movement, and personal development programs.
